SCHOLARSHIPS
To date, the Choctaw Nation has given $16 million in scholarships to over 9,000 students in southeastern Oklahoma. Continuing this tradition of community investment, the Choctaw Nation’s economic development package includes the establishment of a local foundation that will fund scholarships for Pope County high school students to help offset the cost of tuition to attend Arkansas Tech.
THE RESORT
AMENITIES
The $247 million Choctaw Casino & Resort will include a premier gaming facility, luxury 4-Diamond hotel with spa and fitness center, outdoor amphitheater, conference/multi- purpose venue, three restaurants including a sports book, an entertainment bar, retail shop, and resort pool. The proposed casino will be located on the west side of Alaskan Trail just north of Hob Nob Road in Pope County. The project is expected to generate more than 1,000 jobs, and the estimated timeline for completion is 18-24 months.
